Follow these steps once you have purchased Neonix TD Rollover
2.x BEFORE
you install the new software. Before you proceed it may be a good
idea to keep a record of the colors and URLs that were used for
each rollover.
- Open all pages, templates and Library Items that use Neonix
TD Rollover 1
- Start Neonix TD Rollover 1 by clicking the
"Commands" menu, then "Neonix Commands" and
then "Neonix TD Rollover..."
- You will be able to see all of the TD Rollovers on your page
in the TD Rollover List. Select each one and remove all the TD
Rollovers from your page.
- Continue step 3 with all files that are using Neonix
TD Rollover 1
- Use the Extension Manager to uninstall Neonix TD Rollover
1
- Once you are done you may then install Neonix TD Rollover
2
- Re-apply rollovers to your table cells using Neonix
TD Rollover 2
Neonix TD Rollover 1 used in-line JavaScript to
achieve its rollover effects. While this was an easy way to apply
the rollovers it was not the most efficient. It would be impossible,
if not very clumsy, to add new features to Neonix TD Rollover while
maintaining this method of implimentation. In order for the product
to evolve the in-line JavaScript had to be removed.
We cannot gaurantee that a similiar process will not be required
in the future howeverthe entire application has
been re-written from the ground up. Instead of numerous inline scripts
we now have all rollovers calling the same small group of functions.
Future updates to the current set of code (provided that they are
not radical new features) will not require the process outlined
above.
We are sensitive to the inconvenience migrations can cause and
will work to minimize the effects this can have on our users while
maximizing the potential benefits.
