quick description of how to use Neonix Site Tools Pro :
- Select the Dreamweaver site that you want to work with from the Site panel (F8) (If no site has
been defined, click the
"Site" Menu then "New Site..." to define a site.)
- Open any file from the site.
- Start Neonix Site Tools Pro (Click the "Commands"menu, "Neonix Commands" and then "Neonix Site Tools Pro..."
- Enter a "description" of the file(s) you wish
to search for. Valid descriptions can be complete files
names or partial names using the "*" wildcard.
For example, "*.log" will search for all log files,
"*w*.log" will search for all log files with the
letter "w" 'in the file's name, and using only
"*" will search for all files. Multiple file descriptions
must be comma delimited - see the sample at the top of the
page.
- Choose the action that you would like to perform.
- Select whether to include or not to include sub-directories
(By default, you are starting your search from your site's
'root directory. Choose a different starting point by clicking
the "Select Sub-Directory" button).
- Click the "Preview" button to generate a list
of all files\ that have met your search criteria.
- Click "Start" to execute the action on the selected
files.
- Save the log for future reference.
NOTE: If for some reason you find that you have 'deleted'
some files that you did not wish to delete, you can get them
back by going to the Trash Can in Windows and "un-deleting"
them. Neonix.net, LLC is not responsible
for any lost files as a result of using either of the Window
Tools extensions.
